40 days before Easter, not including Sunday’s, we take time to start our spiritual preparation for the celebration of Christ’s Resurrection.  It’s a day to be reminded how ordinarily human each of us are and to affirm  our great need for our Savior.  Find an Ash Wednesday service and participate.  The ashes are composed of last year’s Palm Sunday palms, readied for the mark of the Cross on your forehead.
