We have been justified by Jesus’ blood, will be saved by Him from the wrath of God. Romans 5:9
When Paul writes about the blood of Christ he is referring to Jesus’ death on the Cross. Jesus the Son of God could have called on over 10,000 angels to come to His aid at any time, He could have avoided the cruelty of the Cross, or He could have chosen any other way to give you His Holy Presence within your soul but this was the way, the best and only way.
To cancel the evil that all people are tempted to choose, and even the good choose at times, He takes sin and evil of humanity and cancels it by dying on the Cross. It is a great Plan. It was an unexpected Plan. It is an Easter Plan. We are Easter people.
Your sure faith in Jesus Christ justifies you. Growing up, our leader would start my Church youth meeting asking, “What does justified mean?” And we would respond, “Just as if I had never sinned.” Justified allows you to avoid the wrath of God.
