Quench Your Thirst

Jesus says, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to Me, and let the one who believes in Me drink.”  John 7:37-38

Experts tell us that we that one way to avoid altzheimer’s disease is to pay attention to the amounts of water we drink each day.  Our bodies are made up of 65% water.  And those who play sports have to take in more water before they play, exert, workout.  We have a physical thirst and Jesus highlights in bright yellow emphasis that we have a spiritual thirst that is most vital to an awesome relationship with Him.

Spiritual thirst is just as recognizable as the physical.  It is the longing to be centered, at peace, worry free, content, in full communion with Jesus, and thus allows you to develop strong friendship bonds with other Christians.  It is the spiritual soul connection in your family and how you become useful to God as His abiding servant.

Jesus takes abundant time to quench your spiritual thirst to do the will of God.  You fill up with Him because He is filled with all of God.  The pivotal point in which you do this is by taking in, spiritual drinking, the quenching of the Holy Spirit.  The Spirit is His refreshment to you of His Holy Presence within you.
