Anticipate

Jesus says, “I AM the Resurrection and the life.  Those who believe in Me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.  Do you believe this?”  She [Martha] said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Messiah, the Son of God, the One coming into the world.”  John 11:25-27

Through Jesus Christ we walk in newness of Life.  Your body will die yet who you are as a believer will live eternally because of Jesus’ Resurrection.  Jesus gives this message to you not only that you be assured of His love for you but also so that you live without fear and worry because there is nothing that can separate you from His love.

Notice that in response to Jesus’ declaration of Truth, Martha responds with her faith.  Focus also on the phrase where she says, “… [I believe that You are] the One coming into the world.”  For Martha, Jesus has not yet Resurrected her brother, nor has He Resurrected on the third day, nor has the Holy Spirit been given at Pentecost.  She is believing by faith with expectation.

Expectant faith.  As Jesus completes God’s beginning sentence to Moses, He tells us everything we need to know, to have, and to anticipate.  Right now, for all that you are going through and will need to accomplish within the will of God, it is awesome to fully believe with faith in Jesus Christ that He is working in you for His purpose.  Stay the course of faith and stand firm.
