How To Recover Personal Strenth In Any Situation

Jesus says, “Very truly, I tell you, before the cock crows, you will have denied Me three times.”  John 13:38

With Jesus we are children and sometimes we act more like a child with Jesus than adult Christians who have put on the armor of God.  Jesus tells the disciples that He is going away and with sincere child-like love for Jesus, Peter says he wants to go too and even if it means dying with Jesus.  So like a child whose parent has to go, the child says, “Where are you going?  I want to go too,” and the child sincerely means what he/she says.  Peter wants to do what Jesus does, go where Jesus goes, and he is intent on defending Jesus from all human harm (cutting off the ear of the servant when they arrest Him).

I believe that you will never act as Judas did, abject betrayal of Jesus, because the Holy Spirit’s Power would drive you off from such an evil thought/action.  Yet you and I may act and think like Peter does, with Christ’s Presence strong within us and motivated to go with, defend Him, or die for Him out of our Love for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  It is then when you’ll find that your spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.  Remember:  Only through Christ Jesus does your Heavenly Father God supply your every need and action.

Your fight or flee reaction to danger (small or Large) is real like Peter’s.  For us believers there is middle Holy ground here.  Trust Christ with child like full faith and use the adult armor of God to pair quite nicely in any and all situations.  Believer’s Advocate Holy Spirit aids you to live in His Way boldly, assuredly, and confidently.  Listen, Jesus whispers repeatedly to you that He will meet you in Galilee land, the Holy ground of His three-time forgiveness needed for your personal strength.  Very truly, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.  Philippians 4:13. Where does your strength come?  It comes from the Lord Jesus Christ!
