Revolution Has Begun In Christ

Beware, therefore, that what the prophets said does not happen to you: ‘Look, you scoffers! Be amazed and perish, for in your days I am doing a work, a work that you will never believe, even if someone tells you.'” As Paul and Barnabas were going out, the people urged them to speak about these things again the next sabbath. Acts 13:40-42

In Acts 13, verses 16 through 41, Paul offers Good News message about Jesus Christ Resurrected in powerful Holy Spirit led intention to draw each listener to salvation in Christ. Verse 41 from Habakkuk 1:5 speaks to those who are unyielding to Christ. Paul is the ‘even if someone tells you,’ prophesied.

Paul has focused on Jesus Christ’s forgiveness of sins and in his later letters will focus on justification. Out of the wondrous love of God the Messiah has been given to us, unjustly put to death on the cross, and gloriously arising from the dead by Resurrection. Those who put Jesus to death have been forgiven.

Jesus is forgiveness. His purpose is to redeem and transform you by His joyous love. His Revolution of the Kingdom of God is Holy Spirit alive and to hear it, understand it, and then turn away because one feels weak and unworthy of eternal life is to perish.

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.  Romans 5:6-8
