More Of Jesus Christ

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book. But these are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in His Name. John 20:30-31

Author Apostle John says that there is more that he can put into his Gospel about Jesus our Savior and Lord. Isn’t it true that you can say the same thing about Jesus Christ because in the fullest sense possible you firmly and securely faith-filled agree that glorious He is, that He’s wonderful beyond your ability to express because of His loving compassionate activities in your life and in the lives of others, and that disciple John has shown you more than enough of Jesus Christ because you too could add, expand, and write about Christ’s awesome Holy Spirit Presence in your life and in this world too.

Your witness as Christ’s disciple, as with John’s, is that He is alive within you and you obey Him. You are influencing other’s lives with His abundant Love and gracious hospitality. Like Jesus, when you see an opportunity to help someone you do not hesitate to offer all that is of Christ within you. You are blessing, encouraging, uplifting, motivating, preaching, prophesying, listening and responding with His goodness within your heart.

Like author beloved John, you realize each day that this life you live is not about you; life is lived to show and offer Christ to others. You have no hesitation to pray the Holy Spirit’s conviction into someone else’s situation, to take responsibility to see things through with them, you’re speaking the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to claim His victory over evil, distress, worry, confusion. Yes, Jesus does many other signs in the presence of His disciples today which we have not yet written down. Yes, He Lives and we dearly love Him. And thank you beloved disciple John, in heaven, for writing down the best of Jesus for us.

How Jesus Testifies Truth

Jesus says, “You say that I am a King. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the Truth. Every one who belongs to the Truth listens to My voice.” John 18:37

Jesus is Truth and King of our lives. He truthfully declares God Heavenly Father as we are receptive to the Holy Spirit (Spirit Of Truth), study and read the New Testament, confess to Christ, speak and show Christ’s spirituality to others, witness to God’s Love, forgive, and more– as Jesus guides and directs you in His abundant life. Should anyone be searching for Jesus they may find Him in truthfully giving forgiveness, love, and acceptance into His Kingdom. Jesus fulfills all the prophets messages.

Psalm 45:1–4 ‘ride on victoriously for the cause of Truth’

Jesus Is The Light-Lock On You

Jesus says, “Walk while you have the Light so that the darkness may not overtake you.  If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going.  While you have the Light, walk in the Light so that you may become children of Light.”  John 12:35b–36

In making your personal choice to reconcile your life with Jesus, He placed a Light-Lock on your life– the Savior Jesus Christ your Lord is your Partner now and forever.  Partnered to Him by only His actions of death on the Cross, Resurrection, 40 days of appearances, and Ascension to unite with God the Heavenly Father so that through Him you also unite with glorious Christian bounty of glorious holiness.

The bounty, the abundant Treasure, is Jesus Christ your Way to see clearly, anticipate dearly in hope, and draw nearly to the Light of Christ’s Presence each and every moment.  What a gift of God is our Jesus Christ Partner.  What a joy of God is our Lord and Savior’s Lightening Presence.  Light in your darkness of uncertainty, stalled out action forward, and times when you do not yet understand what is happening.

What is the darkness?  You know.  What is Christ’s Light?  You know because of the face you are partnered with Christ.  Live in the Light of His Love and Joy and join in, participate, choose to be with other wonderful believers of Christian community who are children of Light too.  Keep choosing His Light.  It is locked on you.

Sex and Other Things

Let us lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of Light; let us live honorably as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy.  Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.  Romans 13:12-14

The expectation of the return of Christ makes our drive to serve Christ in discipleship the priority in our lives.  Focus on living your life showing the world that sin has no dominion over you (Romans 6:14).  Live honorably whether or not anyone is looking– live so as not to make your brother or sister (neighbor or acquaintance) stumble away from the Light of Christ.

Christ advises you to “Hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.”  Revelation 3:11. “I am coming soon,”  He says.  We live expectant that He will return today and gather His family of believers in joyful reunion with Him.  Let Him not find you partying, drinking, having an argument, having sex outside of marriage, nor quietly jealous.   Allow our Savior to be proud of you.  Live honorably with faith each day.

How to Use Faith

if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Both confession and faith of Christ is essential.  For Paul could have said– if you proclaim with your lips, yet he did not.  He uses the word confess which is the Greek word homologous and means ‘covenant knowledge’ (Strongs 3670).  The covenant between Christ and you is a knowing of the sure promise you make to Christ to speak clearly about Him, to live boldly in His Presence, and to give unselfishly to others just as He gives generously to you.  When you were Saved you came into covenant with Christ.

Should you be at a loss as to how to confess you may use the confession from the Service of Holy Communion, a traditional confession:  ‘Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved You with our whole hearts.  We have failed to be an obedient Church.   We have not done Your will, we have broken Your law, we have rebelled against Your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heart the cry of the needy.  Forgive us we pray.  Free us for joyful obedience through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.’

My friend, in the Name of Jesus Christ you are forgiven.  And as you have received the free Grace of forgiveness in Christ give similar forgiveness to others.
