But God raised Him up, having freed Him from death, because it was impossible for Him to be held in its power. Acts 2:24
Death and evil never has a hold on you because Jesus Christ’s power is greater. Always has been and always will be. Christ’s powerful love blesses you with Spirit ability.
The Holy Spirit ability to powerfully refresh you with Jesus Christ’s alive Presence happens when you believe, study Scriptures, and take action for Christ. Questions are answered by Spirit. Guidance, help, His protection, relief, undergirding for your faith are freely given by Spirit. When you ask Christ then Spirit speak His answers. When you ask you will receive because His love for you is greater than anything.
As you are Spirit filled, Spirit gives you dawns of understanding that in all situations is not about you rather it’s all about Him. Life in service to Christ is about others. Not everyone will welcome you. Not everyone will listen to you. Not everyone will betray you. Not everyone will love you with Christ-like love. Yet Spirit power goes right around these that seek to bar Christ’s love from their lives so that your example of Jesus’ love is magnified in their lives.
Your Lord Jesus is freed from death so that you are freed. Completely depend on your Jesus Christ Good Shepherd who gave His life for you. (John 10:ll-18). What greater love can He show you?
While staying with them, He ordered them. Not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait there for the promise of the Father. “This,” He said, “is what you have heard from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:4-5
In our ‘Acts Of The Apostles’ Scriptures God’s Plan is launched when Jesus is truly and factually Resurrected from the dead then instructs the disciples to wait in Jerusalem, be baptized with the Holy Spirit, then spread the Spirit. This is Jesus’ commission to you personally and privately too, “Wait for the promise of the Father.” Jesus Christ Resurrected is your everything, giving His life to save you and through the power of the Holy Spirit He is victorious and magnificent in your life.
Look at the high spiritual level shown to us in Acts as truly Jesus Christ’s Resurrection is your central focus from Dr. Luke (author of Acts). Luke mentions 110 believers by name in Acts, and concentrates on Peter (chapters 1-7) then Paul (chapters 8-28). Jesus had promised the Holy Spirit in John 1:33, 7:37-39, 14:16-17, and 20:22. At Pentecost (Acts chapter 2) the Spirit is powerfully activated within believers. Every believer can be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
Old Reverend Robert Lee, Church of Scotland minister and professor of Biblical criticism at Edinburgh University, wrote in the 1800’s that the best title for Saint Luke’s book about the Apostles is, “The Acts of the Ascended and Glorified Lord.”. Lee said it best. Holy Spirit inspiration (deepening faith) by God’s Son who lived compassionately among us and who ignites faith within each and every believer through the power and influence of the Holy Spirit is given when you pray, “Come Holy Spirit, come and fill me to overflowing. I belong to Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. Come Holy Spirit, come.” Then wait.
in order that I may reap some harvest among you (from Apostle Paul) Romans 1:13
Because of the Cross there is longing within you just as it was for Paul. Yet Paul had visionary advantage as he knew businesses that would harvest wheat on the threshing floor. The grain was placed on a hard flat surface some twenty feet in diameter, animals dragged sledges over it, and the harvest floor was always placed where there would be good wind so that grain would be winnowed.
Wind is integral to your harvesting time also; the Wind of the Holy Spirit. Place your visionary surface with a long diameter where you work, volunteer, or have as a home. Be not afraid to use the Power of God for salvation in this wide area, for in the greatness of God thru your faith in Jesus Christ the power of God’s righteousness is alive. The righteousness of God acts in His will to pardon and accept those who humble themselves before the Cross, as the Wind of the Spirit winnows.
